Parliament Street Town House

We were attending a wedding and the property was located just a few minutes away from the venue and the main town square. Included facilities such as the shower and washing machine easy to use. Living room and bedrooms very comfortable. Wished we booked an extra day to explore the nearby filming locations of Father Ted.

The lights on the second floor didn't work which combined with the steps made getting up in the middle of the night more difficult.

(on behalf of my in-laws) Great location, very clean, lovely big space and outdoor area. Communication and self check-in arrangement were also much appreciated.

It was cold and they had difficulty finding the switch for the light upstairs.

The location ,the facilities and the lovely courtyard garden .

The stairs is a bit tricky and the fact the only toilet/ shower is down stairs .

A bit musty in the main living room but then again it is a very old property.

The house is in good location but was cold not enough heat the house is 250 yrs old and needs a lot of heat during winter months.the heaters were on timer no facility to put them on when needed The bedroom is very small in an attic like space I wouldn’t recommend renting this property during the winter months It would be fine when weather is warmer

More heat

We were very impressed with the property and the arrangements regarding check in and check out. The lock box with key was very easy. We are a family of 4, two adults and two kids between 10-15. It is sometimes difficult to ascertain from the property descriptions and the limited photos on the booking websites what the sleeping arrangements are. Our kids are too old/big to be sleeping on couches or roll up matresses, so the the two bedrooms, one with double-bed for parents, and the other with bunk-bed for the two kids was ideal. Downstairs the house had a fully equiped kitchen, lounge with TV and wi-fi, and bathroom. The location of the property is perfect, just off the highstreet. The Foodies breakfast place 50m away is also recommended, and Mr Kebab 100m away also had a good curry takeaway for our late arrival on the first night.. All in all, a very pleasant stay, thank you.

One minor point, in the second email we received via booking.com with the check-in instructions, the host's telephone number had 1 incorrect digit, so we ended up calling some guy on the other side of the country to ask for the keys.. Only then I realised that the phone number was different in the first and second emails..

Downstairs area generally very nice

Sofas downstairs very uncomfortable. Stairs are lethal. Beds and pillows and bed linen of very poor quality. Place lis over priced
