Hidden Mountain Gem

Beautifully kept, up to date cozy cabin. Loved the wet room! Wildlife: Black Bear moseying down the road!!! Close enough to downtown Gatlinburg (quick drive) but remote enough to get away from it all

driveway a little tricky to navigate, for those who may have pets: there is no yard to take them out and road is very narrow making it difficult to walk a pet. We were thinking of bringing our pet next time, glad we checked out the surroundings first!

The view is incredible, there are some neighbors, stores & restaurants nearby. The master bathroom, kitchen, and hot tub are all updated, giving a luxury feel. Working fireplace was cherry on top.

The bedrooms are below ground level, and it gets so much colder downstairs, when upstairs it’s borderline too hot & the upstairs (living room, fireplace, kitchen & dining) fan doesn’t work- it’s hard to get a perfect temperature. The A/C system stopped working our last 2 evenings. We called the rental company, but by the time we finally got some help on the phone, it magically started working again. The living room sofa & chair do need an update. They’re getting pretty dingy & stained, but being able to bring dogs was great, so not too upset with that.

The house itself was great. My only complaint was to drive up the mountain to the house. My husband is afraid of heights and it was a challenge for him.

Very cozy, spacious, and well appointed. Host was amazing with great communication. Very comfortable! The wet room shower/bath combo was amazing!

The driveway angle is a little treacherous. It had snowed and the driveway was slippery. There was no shovel or ice melt readily available.

We really enjoyed the cabin. The wet room was amazing, although there were so many Asian beetles.

Comforting smell upon arrival as well as all it had to offer.

The only thing is the water temp in walk in shower were hard to even warm up took a bath instead.
