Crossways Corner Cottage

Matt was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The place was lovely and cosy and a good base to explore tamar valley.

The blind in the bedroom could be better in minimising the street light from outside during the night and also day light in the morning, but that's because we like the bedroom dark so it may be fine for some people.

The property was really comfortable, well equipped, and very very clean.

There is parking available, though it’s a little way up the road which is a bit awkward when loading/unloading the car. However this really didn’t effect my stay and I had zero issues parking the car

The property was in excellent condition and very clean. We were met by Matt the owner and he advised the best place to park our car and where the local facilities were. It was value for money and way better than staying in a hotel.

The location is on top of a large narrow winding hill so popping down to the pub is not going to work for most people. It's not bad enough though to detract from a lovely place to stay.

The interior of this cottage was in an impeccable condition. It was very comfortable and the kitchen contained most of the utensils necessary for everyday cooking. This included electrical facilities such as state of the art oven, washing machine, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, etc. Fitted (as new) carpeting, and adequate heating, in all rooms. The rooms were furnished to an amply sufficient, good quality standard, including the bed. The bathroom fittings appeared to be brand new and of high quality.

The roads surrounding the neighbourhood are quite narrow, so we had to search a while for a suitable parking space a few yards down the road. But this fact had very little impact on our holiday.
