Tall Ship - Three-bedroom coastal house with sea views

Lovely big house. 5 of us were working away from home. Really comfortable and quirky.

Nothing. There were only a couple of parking spaces outside the property with the free car park a short distance away but we always managed to get a space

Liked the location

No hot water and it never got fully resolved. No instructions on where to put garbage or recycling . No started pack for wood stove which we needed as had no heater either!

The location was perfect - close to all the amenities of Anstruther. Management company replied quickly when there was a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Offered to move us to another property if the situation became worse.

The property is much smaller than it appears in the photographs - too small for a group of 5 adults. The ground floor bedroom / shower room were particularly disappointing, with decor akin to my 1980s student flat, it smelled damp and fusty. The property was not as clean as I would expect in a holiday rental eg sand on the floors and a previous guest's towel in the bathroom. There are no proper arrangements for garbage, but the management company did send someone round to collect our rubbish when I emailed them half way through the holiday.

I really didn’t like the property, it would be very damp in winter, also a homeless man spends a lot of time on the front door step next door

When we arrived after flying from Australia we discovered the boiler wasn’t working, know hot water. It took four visits from maintenance engineers, this was totally disappointing because the first night of our holiday was ruined because we had to wait in for the maintenance man. The next day we were instructed by Company Director Simona to leave the keys in the lockbox if we go out for the day, we weren’t really happy about that but agreed. In previous weeks leading up to our holiday we had many messages from Premier Stays Fife advising the GodFather Restaurant. As compensation we were offered a voucher of £50 to the GodFather Restaurant. We have now been offered £50 off the Godfather Restaurant on our next stay. That will definitely not be happening

Tired & dated. Needs to be completely refurbished and modernized. No ventilation in one of the bathrooms. TV in bedroom not working.

The property was lovely and really cosy but not for anyone who has difficulty with stairs as there is a lot!

Time in was 4pm and time out was 10am so hardly got anytime the first day at all as was dark by the time we got there Think the check in could be a bit earlier especially when you are asking people to be out by 10am
