NEW!! House Near Raystown Lake in Peaceful Wooded Area

Absolutely everything! The house was so much nicer than the photos depicted. We played with all the "toys" including the firepit and there was nothing we needed for our stay. The thing we loved the most was how quiet and peaceful the place was. Husband enjoyed fishing at the river, wife enjoyed sitting on on the beautiful deck reading, big kids enjoyed the game room!

Secluded, well maintained, all the amenities and the little touches like coffee and s’mores fixings! Oh and the arcade!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and enjoyed it every time. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Love sitting on the porch (saw deer) and the game room was a bonus during a rainy day.

Cabin is beautiful. Quiet setting. Sat and watched the squirrels play in the yard while drinking morning coffee. Was very nicely decorated for Christmas. We loved the wood detailing and the fireplace.

The only thing we didn’t like was that it rained the first night and we missed out on using the outside fireplace. Lol

The short trip was very nice and relaxing. It was nice to have the family over and just chill and talk all together. The accommodations were great.

Private, quiet, peaceful, clean. We have kids of all ages, and there was something for all of them to enjoy - as well as ourselves! A very thoughtful host and a pleasant home made for a wonderful vacation we won’t soon forget.

There is nothing to complain about.

Property was in a secluded area but close to town; 11 minutes to Juniata College. House was very comfortable for our group; 2 couples and 1 family of 4. We grilled food on the deck one night but didn’t get to use the fire pit. Lots of space and hang out areas. Game room was a hit with everyone. Hosts were very attentive.

Everything was great. Tip for future renters, get an SUV or 4 wheel drive vehicle. The roads up the hill are steep, gravely, and there are 3 switchbacks. Not a problem for us because we had jeeps but I wouldn’t want to try it with a sedan.

Location was perfect - close to town and neighboring towns for shopping/dining and visiting family and friends, yet so peaceful and close to the lake. We had a very long drive up from Atlanta, and this stay was truly exceptional in every way, from the gracious, thoughtful hosts and their care and efforts with every detail of their beautiful home inside and out, to all of the amenities provided to make the stay comfortable and most enjoyable for everyone in the family, including my kids and my mother. This home was definitely worth the trip, and we look forward to returning next year!
