Ballyhack by the Sea

Ideal location. Central to everything. House itself is ideal for families, my kids loved it.

House was not clean when we entered but the house keeper had a family emergency which is totally understandable. Life happens! Helena responded straight away to us and the house was sorted in no time. So spot on.

Location was peaceful. WiFi excellent.Comfortable beds.

Lack of frying pan, pasta strainer and a few extras not in the kitchen. Some dishes not clean from previous people. Needs to bit of TLC with things coming loose, falling off.

Lovely, clean, spacious house as described. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. Good sized enclosed garden and nice quiet estate. The host was quick to reply to emails, and I would recommend the house as a great location to stay whilst touring the Hook penninsula.

The location was good . 9 minutes to duncannon beach and close to lots of different attractions - dunbrody abbey and maze was a real hit .100% would need a car. The house itself was lovely. Had absolutely everything you could need from appliances to tea and coffee. The photos didn't do it justice- its was more spacious. There's a good sized enclosed back garden with garden furniture. We were able to sit out for our meals. We also had our 2 dogs with us and they had plenty of room to run around outside. We (me, my husband, 12 & 16 yr old sons and my mother) had a really enjoyable relaxing holiday and would definitely stay here again. Have already recommended to family 😊

Was a very homely house. Everything you needed was in house.

Was a difficult walk to Ballyhack village with two small children very steep hills. No fault to property was excellent.

Warm as toast

Poor Bedding... Plastic pillow slips and mattress protectors. Thin pillow per person. Location not what was expected. Thought it would be nearer water. More like housing estate.
