"4 Nights in Lovely Cottage"

9.0

Found at a great price! Looks bigger in person than shown in the pictures. Lovely remote location and is still roughly a 10 minute drive away from the harbour/beach, shops, and civilisation. It was a cosy ground floor cottage with everything you needed. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. Friendly owners, there if you need them. Beautiful view of the nearby horses out of the kitchen window. I would definitely stay again

You are told the wifi is bad and there are spots in the cottage in which it works, but I never managed to connect to the wifi the whole time and had no connection for celluar data either, but that's not the end of the world. Would have liked blackout curtains for the really bright early mornings, but again, not the end of the world. We couldn't leave anything in the conservatory/sunroom as the door wouldn't lock, better safe than sorry.

"Perfect for our 5 day break away."

10.0

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Friendly and helpful property owners with great communication both before and during our stay.

We couldn't all get connected to the WiFi but we did know that might happen prior to booking so it wasn't a problem. Our teenage daughter managed to connect on her phone so all was well!

"wonderfull"

10.0

Wonderful vacation and a wonderful place to stay. Very quiet but not far from town Stranraer if you need something. Very clean and there was everything you need. Cozy accommodation lets you feel at home. Friendly and helpful hosts Viv and her husband. We manage to visit many places, including castle ruins, I recommend this place to everyone, especially those who like the quiet place to stay and outdoor activities and explore Scotland, etc. Historical places, beaches, seaside towns, and villages.

"This cosy, beautifully maintained cottage is perfect for a relaxing break."

10.0

The cottage was very cosy and peaceful. It had everything we could possibly have wanted, including well equipped kitchen, TV with loads of channels for cosy evenings in, a fab shower. It was spotlessly clean. I have never been in a holiday home as clean as this was. Our hosts were really lovely, friendly and helpful The location was beautiful and though it was away from it all, we were still able to walk into town (good exercise). The cottage has a small conservatory looking onto a courtyard which was a real sun trap.

The cottage could not have been any better for us. It was perfect!

"Lovely hosts, the property needs updating."

5.0

Location and parking was good, the hosts were lovely but the property could do with updating.

There was a musty smell when entering the property.
