"Lovely quiet place to stay. Great value."

This accommodation was great! It is situated in a very quiet village with 2 signposted hikes leaving from the front door and fantastic scenery all around. Luis has a shop in the village, below the accommodation selling his delicious honey and other products. There is an open fire with wood for your use in winter and electric heating if you need it. The kitchen is very well equipped, the shower has a good pressure and the bedrooms are comfortable. All in all a lovely place to stay and relax for a few days. Thank you Luis and Maria!

"5 Days stay at Casa do Serra"

The house was very well equipped with especially a washing machine and an oven. The balcony couch was amazing to relax with a drink and views. Luis was a great host without imposing on our privacy. The friendly hard working people in the village.

The walks in the woods were spoiled with numerous irritating flies.

"Peace and quiet close to nature"

The location is a bit away from services but it is amazing place to rest and be close to nature. Simply loved it, close to trails, nice small village, quiet, the balcony is great for a relaxing drink at the end of the day.

The only thing I can point out is that would be nice to have some coffee and maybe something for at least the first breakfast. As any shop is around 20min driving, we arrived by end of the day and didn't have the time to go for groceries shopping and therefore had no coffee or bread for breakfast the following morning.
