The Romantic Beach House

50m walk to beach. Clean comfortable home away from home. On top of bakery which was delicious. Large kitchen, 2 bathrooms perfect for family or group.

Ilias provided excellent directions and was there to greet us at the property, take us in, and show us around. Ilias was super friendly and talked us through the local amenities and places to visit further afield. The apartment was very comfortable, for us, a family of four with two teenagers. The location was perfect - just outside the hustle and bustle of the old town, but 2 minutes walk to the main beach. However there are quieter more relaxed beaches only 5-10 minutes walk in the other direction. Awesome bakery beneath the property. The area is very safe.

We had to ask for a second set of keys - these were provided very promptly however, so no real issue!

Το σπίτι ήταν πεντακάθαρο, ευρύχωρο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο – ιδανικό για οικογένεια ή παρέα. Τα 3 υπνοδωμάτια είναι άνετα, με άνετα κρεβάτια και πολύ καλή διαρρύθμιση. Η κουζίνα διαθέτει όλα όσα χρειάζεται κάποιος για να μαγειρέψει και να νιώσει σαν στο σπίτι του. Η τοποθεσία είναι απλώς τέλεια – μόλις λίγα βήματα από τη θάλασσα! Το πρωινό μπάνιο γίνεται σχεδόν αυτονόητο, χωρίς μετακινήσεις. Ιδιαίτερη εντύπωση μας έκανε η φιλοξενία του ιδιοκτήτη, ο οποίος ήταν ευγενέστατος, εξυπηρετικός και πάντα διαθέσιμος για οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε. Μας περίμεναν κεράσματα στο σπίτι κατά την άφιξη – μια πολύ όμορφη και προσωπική πινελιά που δείχνει το πόσο αγαπάει αυτό που κάνει. Περάσαμε υπέροχα και σίγουρα θα το επιλέξουμε ξανά στο μέλλον! Amazing location, just a minute or 2 walk to the beach. A bit of a walk to the old town - about 20 mins but flat so not an issue. Small patisserie downstairs and a small supermarket just 3 mins walk. Lovely old building with high ceilings.

The apartment wasn't the most comfortable we stayed in. The air conditioning didn't work very well in one room, there was none in another and the unit in the kitchen was badly placed so didn't cool down the main kitchen area. The doors had loose glass panels that were very loud and banged shut a lot. The living room is very drab and grim. The apartment was clean with two nice bathrooms. But there were some ants in the kitchen and one bathroom when we arrived. There were a couple of cans of bug spray so that kept them mostly at bay. For cooking in, just to note there is no dishwasher or microwave. Well equipped kitchen apart from that. The beds are comfortable but the pillows were uncomfortable and some of the old wardrobes were quite musty. But the beds etc. were very clean.

The location was perfect. Air conditioning worked well. Beautiful floors throughout Two full bathrooms made it perfect for two couples. Flat is above bakery. Parking space off the street.

Everything was great👍

Distance to the beach, distance to the city center can be turned into a nice walk along the sea, clean and spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, amazing host!
