Great property, great location, truly spectacular views

Spectacular views of Queenstown

For accommodation that sleeps 7 people, we where incredibly disappointed that the kitchen was not set up to service that size group - only 3 wine glasses and no serving plates for dinners! Also no extra toilet paper, toilet roll holder missing in main bathroom and no towel hooks in bathrooms so you had to hang your wet towels on hangers in the bedroom wardrobes. Bathroom towels where exceptionally small and no facecloths. For the price of this property it was disappointing that it was not set up for large groups.

Insane views over Queenstown. Beautiful kitchen and living area to enjoy and relax in.

Kitchen is not well equipped for a big group. It’s manageable but there needs to be a few bigger pans and serving dishes as well as more glasses (eg 4 wine glasses for a group of 7).

The views are amazing and the location was great. Communication was very prompt.

When we first arrived, the main gas fire heater had ran out of gas, so we had to message the property manager (who promptly responded) as we had no central heating source in the middle of winter and the place was freezing. They sent out a cleaner to attend. He was only able to refill the bbq gas bottle at short notice, so inevitably the gas ran out again and had to be refilled 2 days later (after messaging the manager again). This was not a great start to our stay! The property is missing all charm, there’s nothing inviting about the bedrooms, they’re basic beds with the bare minimum. It would appear no love goes into maintaining the place. The kitchen is lacking with some items, and most of the utensils they do have are very old and worn.

We booked months ago and just days before we arrived we were bombarded with rules to follow, including no shoes inside as an example. I took comfort that at least the place would be well cared for. Was very disappointed at the state of the carpet, stains in many places. The master bedroom in particular had soaking wet carpet and smelled plus you couldn’t walk around without getting wet socks! I made two attempts to get help from the offsite ‘manager’ but no response all weekend except more annoying texts about how to report problems and of course, another list of expectations upon checking out. Would not recommend this place as it didn’t feel as nice as the photos. Not even a towel rack in the en-suite for even a hand towel.
