The Stables: Detached Cottage with Private Garden & Hot Tub

It was lovely very happy with the stay

Only thing that we didn’t like there was way too much chlorine in the hot tub, we couldn’t put the bubble jets on as the steam made us inhale it

It was adequate and quite location bit awkward to fined

All was good once we found it

nice and quiet and cosy with a hot tub and private garden

The shower was a bit small but still fully functional

Cottage was cute and had everything we could’ve needed Location was great for travelling to lots of dog friendly beaches/areas of interest and attractions Hot tub and bbq were great additions Dogs loved the outdoor space

Sofa was uncomfortable Shower was quite small/difficult to use but appreciate that it’s as big as it can be in the space A lot of noise during the day from neighbouring building works on one side and a childcare centre / nursery the other side

Was given the wrong key code couldn't get into the property 😞for hours and finally got hold of someone after 4 hours. The garden was dirty full of leaves and branches. The hot tub cover was stinking and full of leaves,the BBQ was not usable it was dirty. No milk was at the property when we arrived after a 4 hour drive I just wanted a cup of tea. The toilet was leaking in the tank so it kept us a wake at night. Emailed the Margret the owner and had a very nasty email back from her, basically call me and my partner liers. She had said we left the hot tub cover off, which is a lie, and we had put open dog poo bags in the bin, how can you even do this, anyway rant over... It's shocking and I would not recommend staying there,

Everything about the cottage was excellent. Easy to walk into St Austell. Easy to drive elsewhere. Decor and facilities were nice to. Good private parking. Hot tub was nice . Hubby has got rheumatoid arthritis and it helped his joints. There's a bbq but we didn't get a chance to use it. We had a problem with the pull cord in the shower room. A quick message to report it and a guy turned up later that day,Saturday afternoon, and replaced the pull cord. Can't fault that service. I'd definitely stay again.

The hot tub was really lovely, and the shower was very good. Walking distance to most necessities (shops, pubs/restaurants, bus/train stations) Short drive away from local gym/swimming pool.

Cleanliness was not really up to par for us and generally things felt a little run down and unloved. Bed and sofa were very uncomfortable. Shame really as it really looked idyllic. Maybe we just were unlucky with the cleanliness.

Great location, lovely hot tub. Private parking.
