Dala Cottage

A beautifully furnished house in a little village in Dalarna, surrounded by stunning nature, forest and many lakes at a hands reach. The place is very clean, quiet and warm. The owner has obviously invested a lot of time and energy to furnish the place with a combination of old and new and has done so very tastefully. We were a company of four with a small dog and the house was perfect size for us, it had everything we needed and more.

Nothing, really, unless you are bothered with too many options for outdoor seating with a cup of coffee or tea.

The cottage is way bigger then we thought! Everything was just perfect. There is a laundry machine, dryer and dishwasher. Two bathrooms, a sauna, a fire place.....a beautiful area outside. We wish we could have stayed there longer, we just loved eveything about it. In the garden there is a little river coming from the surrounding lake. There is a picnic area where you can swim just 2km from the cottage which is a really nice walk.

We didn't mind but there is a road next to the house. If you are looking for a place without human noise this is not it. There is no hairdryer, so bringing my own next time 😀 Everything is quitte far a way. There is a little supermarked at 15min in Fredriksberg, for bigger shops you need to go to Ludvika which is 30min+

Really beautiful, warm and cozy house! Wonderfully equipped and spacious. We loved every minute of our stay here.

A very cozy cottage in a quiet area. Inside, there are numerous amenities, including a sauna. Everything you need to spend your time peacefully.

In winter, a box with sand near the house would be useful.

Everything - it is the most cozy cottage that we have been to with lovely hiking trails, Safsen close by and a Sauna to enjoy afterwards.
