"It was comfortable and had the amenities that we needed for coffee in the morning…cute little town and nice neighbors!"

It was cozy and great walking nearby…

Only 1 small roll of toilet paper with no back up so had to run into town for supplies. But not a big deal.

We loved this adorable little house. It has been decorated with impeccable taste. The geographic location is great for anybody who prefers to be a little off the beaten path. We saw dears and or hares every day. The host was super available and helpful.

I loved everything about my weekend in Kingsbarns. The house was fantastic, location perfectly placed very close to St. Andrews and Crail, host was super helpful and accommodating and bonus the weather was amazing.

2nd time I've been to Scotchacre and it won't be the last. Ideal location for the beach, Cambo house (beautiful walks to both), the friendly local pub and the bus to St Andrews or Crail. The property itself is fresh, modern, comfortable with everything you'll need for a lovely stay. The weather was fantastic, so we were able to have breakfast in the garden and sit outside at night. Looking forward to going back!

"we were going to a wedding nearby and so did not have great needs but it felt generally cold and unw"

It was very clean.

It was very cold. There is no shop in the village and despite that and us arriving in a predicted storm there was not even a teabag and some UHT milk capsules. It was very unwelcoming. When we briefly mislaid the keys (but got them back) the host had no other means of access to the house and was 2.5 hours away.
