We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and particularly loved the beautiful grounds and the property's excellent location. The setting was peaceful and made for a very relaxing break. However, we felt the property could benefit from a more thorough clean. There was a noticeable pet odour in the lounge area, which unfortunately detracted from our overall experience. We also felt it would have been a nice personal touch to be welcomed by the owner on arrival. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and appreciated the property's many positives, but a little more attention to cleanliness and guest reception would make a significant difference.
