The Gold Rise - Sleeps 8 - Garden - Lake Views

A well-maintained, spacious property with a breathtaking view of Lake Wakatipu. The living room and the balcony are marvellous. The fireplace is a nice touch.

It’s a beautiful and comfortable house with great views.

We used the Bonailie Bothy as a ski base and it had all the amenities that you would expect. Plenty of heating options including a log fireplace. The second comfortable living area downstairs with TV was a bonus. The house was warm and clean with a major reno having just been completed. Our host Jen was very pleasant and helpful. We would be keen to use this place next year and we highly recommend it.

The property was lovely, nice and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped for having all types of meals at the property. A great place for "plane watching" as on the flight path for Queenstown Airport, and a great deck to do it from. Fabulous communication from owner. Easy to find, and had everything we needed. Curtains were drawn and aircon was on when we arrived, which was much appreciated given it was sunny and 28 degrees!

The fire place chimney bangs in the wind, which kept us awake on a couple of the nights, and the internal garage door doesn't close properly, and squeaks in the wind too. Salt and Pepper shakers would be a nice addition to the fully equipped kitchen :-)
