Dolphin View

Lovely location with great ocean views. Dolphins went past most days. Place was huge - there were 4 of us and we only used half of the property.

Getting hold of remotes for the gate was a bit tricky - took a few whatsapp messages to sort a second remote. A few maintenance issues which at this price shoud have been addressed. No garden, so just a small deck outside.

The house is very spacious with a beautiful view and nice courtyard for a braai or potjie. It also has an inverter that greatly assisted during loadshedding. The host made sure that our requests for hangers and missing cutlery was attended to by the lady that stays on the property.

The basins in the kitchen could not be used (one had a tap that was not working whilst the other sink was leaking). We had to use a plastic bowl and the dishwasher. There was no dry rack for dishes and cutlery or hooks for dishcloths. There are no blinds in the living area - we therefore could not watch TV during the day. The WiFi connection was extremely bad so it was difficult to stream movies. There was no patio furniture for the main and adjoining bedroom. It was also difficult to have a sea view from the main bedroom given the height of the bushes/vegetation.
