Bunga Jabe

Everything. The huts and houses are ON A BEACH. Towering coconut palms all around. Lovely strong breeze/wind as on East Coast which keeps you cool and keeps mosquitoes away. Very basic little huts but open to the stars and the waves and the breezes. Staff are lovely, cheerful, friendly, patient and helpful. Food is superb. Its a small set up so it is very much a home cooked meal each night if you choose. Fish us fresh and veg locally grown. Location: a good 40 minutes on motorbike from town, so make sure you have everything uou need like cash . But gloriously isolated, all part of the charm. Lots of beaches nearby to explore for a change of scene. Locals so friendly. Plenty of local shops. We took the snorkelling boat trip, which was great value with splendid lunch, of fresh grilled tuna, and several other tasty dishes. My daughter took the coconut oil making workshop and really found it interesting. There are other workshops and outing opportunities, too, as well as canoe and snorkel hire. They rent mopeds nut uou may be better off hiring from town on arrival as they are bit cheaper and taxis are expensive. You will need a moped! Daniel speaks fluent English and is endlessly patient! If you are looking for the desert island experience, look no further!

We had a really great time in Bunga Jabe. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The staff can also help you book tickets for the ferry, because the system is very complicated. It is a very small resort, but this gives it charm. We were all together 17 guests and the resort was full. I would highly recommend this place to my friends. You will not regret coming here. It is the place where you can relax in peace! Especially the food was amazing. Always vegetarian.

I loved it!!!!!!

The location was just unbelievable and the huts and the whole vibe was amazing. The staff also were so nice and helpful and the food is the best we have had in Java.
