Peaceful, beautiful location and very comfortable cabin.

Nothing really. The wraparound porch could use a little cleaning though.

The location and hot tub on back porch. Beds were comfy,owner was super nice and the cabin was perfect all the way around.

Overall, once we accessed the cabin hours late and then left and allowed several hours for it to be cleaned, it was pretty comfortable. The owner we tracked down after several hours and finally locating a neighbor who knew her seemed lovely and very responsive though she isn't local. We have no idea who the hosts on this listing are and had no interaction with them. The price was good, and the location was convenient to where we were going.

After booking and paying in mid-April, we received no further communication--not another email to tell us how to access the property, which we were scheduled to check in at 3pm, an hour early. We began calling the number provided and emailing via the provided link at 1pm. We never received any response at all. We arrived at 4:30pm and could not access the cabin. We continued to call and email. We also emailed booking.com several times. We called booking.com, and after fifteen minutes on hold, someone answered and hung up without a word. We finally found a neighbor who knew the owner and who is not one of the people listed as a host. She told us how to find a key. We entered to find the cabin had not been cleaned. Used, dirty linens were on the bathroom floor. Beds were not made. There were no towels. There were dead bugs on the floor. We called the owner whose number we now had from the neighbor, and she was shocked. She called us back ten minutes later after confirming someone could come and clean and told us to go to dinner and come back. We finally got in at 8:30pm, and the cabin was clean at that time. There are no instructions in the cabin about how to access WiFi or to use the television. There is coffee but no coffee maker and a Keurig but no cups for it. There was no information about bears except for what the neighbor told us, and that deficit may account for the two bears he said they'd had in cars in the last three days. We didn't see one. Overall, once we managed to get in, hours late and after it had to be cleaned, the cabin was comfortable. Cell reception was off and on because we didn't have WiFi. It's very much on a mountain and very close to several, other similar cabins though many seemed to be residences and not rentals. The numbers and emails we were originally provided either don't work or were ignored, and booking.com itself has horrendous customer service.

MANAGEMENT: SEE ESP #6 1. Difficult/unable establishing an early arrival. 2. Bed linens were very heavy/warm; tough getting comfortable temperature-wise. 3. Required to empty trash at a not-convenient dumpster when departing (I would have have thought this was a cleaning crew matter). 4. Required to strip beds and manage linen upon departure… unlike a hotel. 5. Did NOT use jacuzzi, but the water felt “slippery” to the hand. 6. WARNING: Smaller bedroom… both outlets by headboard would cut out at the slightest touch and sometimes without being touched… wonder if there is not a loose wire/partial short. This deserves immediate investigation. Happens with both installed lamps and my charging gear in all 4 outlets.

We loved the cabin. More than enough room for just a couple. Very clean and comfortable. The fireplace was wonderful. It was secluded but only 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge.
