Aotea - Lake Tekapo

Our stay here was absolutely magical. We cannot recommend this house highly enough. The property was really clean and well presented and toasty warm for the whole visit. Parking was enough for two cars plus on street also if you require it. All linen and towels were provided as well as soap for showering. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cutlery and crockery, and had supplies for cleaning also. We stayed as a family of six with two small children - we all loved the home and found it to be ample in size Check in was easy and we found the property with no issues even though it was dark on our arrival.

The location was great with superb views. Comfortable walking distance to the village. The size of the property suited our party. The bed linen was crisp and clean.

Cleanliness could have been better. We were faced with chip crumbs on the sofas and rice bubbles, peanuts and bread crumbs throughout the kitchen. The oven is in need of a very good clean. Some window sills were very dirty and windows need cleaning. Carpets are starting to ripple. The garage had not been swept and was covered in shingle. The gardens are in need of a big tidy. The property is starting to look tired.
