We were warmly welcomed by Angela who showed us to our accommodation and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. The farm is beautiful and so peaceful and feeding the lambs was definitely a holiday highlight for me and my family.

We liked the Serene environment surrounded by green pastures. The stay was very comfortable. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being Indian, we mostly cook our meals. It had a fully functional kitchen with a fridge, cooker and a microwave oven. It also had a washing machine. The room was cosy and warm. The hosts were kind enough to provide fresh farm eggs. People were friendly and helped us whenever we needed. They provided a cot and a highchair for our 3 year old daughter. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again soon.

There was no internet in the house. It is not an issue as it was mentioned in the description. But there was no phone signal either inside the house and nearby. You need to drive at least a quarter mile to get a good phone reception. We struggled to connect with the NHS for our daughter who developed a slight fever on the first day. It's not a problem but you should be prepared for this.

"Perfect cottage, beautiful landscape, and lovely hosts. Memories to treasure forever."

10.0

The cottage was the perfect size for a week-long break with my husband, toddler and large dog. It was outfitted with everything we needed, including all kitchen equipment, cot, and also leaflets for local attractions. The landscape was incredible - beautiful, peaceful, and plenty of space to walk the dog off-lead away from the farm animals. Feeding the chickens, cockerel, and lambs, and collecting the chicken eggs, was definitely a highlight for my toddler (and me!). Angela, farm owner, was lovely. She called herself Auntie Angela to my toddler, and the title suited her perfectly!

"Absolutely lovely"

9.0

Location was beautiful and the cottage was very quaint. Kitchen although a little dated was perfect. The beds were very very comfortable. It was quite muddy (as you would expect on a farm). so take wellies. There was a super cute welcome package of organic teas and coffee plus milk in the fridge!

Only thing was the fridge was a bit noisy (but you can't hear that upstairs) Don't forget your own towels. No wifi - but you can get phone signal. And take DVD's if you aren't one for regular TV

"Our family stay"

10.0

Anglea was so welcoming, she left us milk as we arrived so we could have a cuppa and some nice Stroop waffles were a big hit too. She was very thorough in her explanation of rules and recycling and super approachable. David rang as we were kn route to see if were doing OK on the road. Angela invited us to feed the chicken and calf with her, which we did one morning out of the 3 with our toddler who loved it(he sleeps late so didn't make it every day). The walk to the river is lovely.

I liked this but found it hard to plan days put or routes to anywhere- no WiFi. The nearest Chinese was about half hour drive away so if using it defo ring ahead to pre order.

"Amzingggg!!!!"

10.0

Where do I start , it was amazing experience for me and my family we went with 11 month baby with us to spend some time away from bussy life and it was what we really needed. The house had everything we needed for and for my Little one; the farm had some beautiful animals there .and of course Amy went above and beyond to accommodate us letting us feed the animals and providing us with all the information we needed it was such a pleasure that they let us experience in thier beautiful farm .

The only down side I can say is the internet and phone connection on thier farm is not the best and in all fairness it's not Thier fault , probably it's due to the connection but there are some spots with in the farm where u can access better connection ☺️
