Treehouse #1 by Amish Country Lodging

The location, the views & the house was GREAT for the 6 of us ladies! We celebrated my 60th birthday & decided to make it an annual event to visit & stay here! We're looking forward to stay at another house!!

Needed more towels, but we made it work. We weren't used to soft, luscious pillows! Next visit, we may bring our firmer pillows. Overall, we were all happy with sleeping arrangements.

It was very expensive, I would have stayed three or four nights if I could have afforded it. It’s unique, but not someplace I dk if I would return just because of the price.

It was beautiful inside as well as outside.

We were sad to leave.

Beautiful location

The cabin swayed. While you stated it would sway in the wind, it actually will sway when someone walks within the cabin. When I texted that to management, I told wind, but it was a cold but calm day. It sways enough that the lights move. It unsetting. We also lost hot water. Friday's bath in the tub was cool, but the shower on Saturday was icy. We thought the tub was because of the bubbles but it probably was the tank was not working properly. We decided to leave and notified management that we left and then they offered to fix the hot water tank. Why didn't management know? If you can fix it from your phone, why don't you get a notification that the hot water tank is not working when it's rented? Bottom line we didn't need to take a cold shower. We never give up nights we pay for but we walk away from a stay because the swaying and no hot water was a hard pass.

Fun clean place to stay. Close to everything in Amish country- stores, tours, etc

Most everything closed at 5 or 6 pm!
