Lovely present for my newly wedding godchild

It had everything they needed

the size and the house itself was wonderful. the location was perfect and the house was fully equipped for our needs. the beds were comfortable and the bedding clean.

there were a few signs of maintenance to the property that is desperately needed. - the toilet in main bedroom did not flush and this was reported to the office. we managed to get it to work ourselves by turning the water supply to the toilet on and off. - the bath in the main bedroom leaked so bad when filled with water that the entire floor is flooded requiring us to use our towel to absorb the water and ensure the floors are not damaged. however this left us with no dry towels for the rest of the stay. - the wooden laminate floors in the main bedroom are in a sorry state and next to the entrance side of the main bedroom the floor has small nails that are sticking up. This resulted in my foot been hurt by the nails sticking out. I hate to know what would happen if a small child or baby crawls or runs into the room and hooks their skin on the nails. - the gas stove worked but the center element did not work. - although the property was clean to the walk in customer, we found areas that were completed not cleaned e.g. the carpet in the lounge was very dirty and even had toothpics sticking out the mate.

The place was not very clean. There was hair in almost every corner of the house. Upon our arrival there was a mop and bucket just by the door which I suspect the cleaning lady forgot but that was not really an issue. My issue is the not so completely clean place. I even had to sweep the following day.

The general cleanliness of the place.

Salt Water House is fully equipped and was such a pleasure to stay in. Just a short walk to the quieter side of the beach. Just what the doctor ordered. A dishwasher to ensure dishes are sorted and special mention of the most comfortable bed (something that facilities tend to neglect). We drove away well rested.
