The Shore

A very cosy-posh house in a quaint area with lots of ice-cream parlours and picturesque view of the Forth Bridge. Kitchen was well equipped with treats like biscuits, chocolates, cereal and coffee options which my family enjoyed. Fresh roses on the dining table, bath robes like a 5 star hotel!

There was some slippery moss near the wooden platform at the garden area near the swing. Perhaps a warning sign.

The accommodation only had a combination oven not great for cooking. Otherwise no faults

This was possibly the best accommodation that I have ever stayed in. It was neat, clean and spacious. The check-in details were on point and our host Denise was just amazing. There was even a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the fridge with various odds and ends like milk, cereal and vanity kits. The location was just too beautiful and the house itself was superb. We didn't want to leave. Thank you The Shore for a memorable visit.

Location was excellent for "out of city" Edinburgh stay. Best way to travel into city centre is to get the train. House decorated to very high standard, powerful shower. Even a bottle of sparkling wine provided in the fridge. Would've liked to have spent more time there to enjoy evenings in the garden.

It would be great if I could have brought my dog! There’s hard flooring downstairs so is feasible?
