Smithy Cottage

The cottage was beautifully presented, very warm, comfortable and welcoming. The conservatory was lovely to sit in during late afternoon when it caught the sun and the living room was very cosy with its log burner. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. The garden was large and very private.

We found the beds to be rather hard.

Property was a beautiful and comfortable with amazing design. It was with in 25 minute reach to a ski slope which we liked a lot. as well as it had an amazing garden. Plus the owners are the nicest people every. Would definitely come back again and would highly recommend to stay there.

Mark and Rachel advised us on different places to go and local events.Also they had maps around the local area for walking.The cottage it's self was very comfortable (sofa & beds) and well equipped. Rachel even brought in some fresh milk so that we could have a drink and also some wine and biscuits.(even our 3 dogs got a treat) The village was a bit remote but the nearest towns where 20 minutes away, and there was a shop next door with anything you might need. Mark and Rachel was only a phone call away if you need anything.

The only thing was the driveway which was a little steep,because you can't get the car down the drive if you have a low car, but there was plenty of parking near to the cottage.
