Alpine Lodge - Lake Placid, Mirror Lake

Plenty of room, had everything we needed and was in the perfect location.

Bed frames were a little flimsy and creaky

Great location, perfect for families with kids. Beautiful house with plenty of space. Would book it again.

Front right stove burner isn't fully functional. Kitchen sink faucet knob kept falling out (seems like the knob is stripped so won't screw back in)

Location great, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, nice fire pit

Uncomfortable living room furniture, not enough common lounging space, parking was difficult

Modern interior. Six lovely bed rooms. Nice fire pit area outside with wood to burn. Good has grill for cooking. Plenty of T.V.s. Good modern kitchen and complimentary coffee.

There were only six glasses for drinking. Needed twice that. (plenty of coffee mugs). Front door kept announcing that the battery needed replacement. We notified host who said they would have the batteries changed after we left. However, each day it became more difficult for the key pad to work. It would shut off while we were entering the code. Bottom line, if the front door key pad is working intermittently, the host needs to respond in real time by sending someone to fix or to come himself or herself. We had to leave the back door unlocked fearing the front door would malfunction. Also the remote to activate the fireplace was nowhere to be found. That is not good. It should be clearly visible so guests can use it, especially during cold rainy weather. We never got to use the fireplace because there was no remote.
