Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet location. Friendly and helpful host.

Jim and Patricia are fantastic hosts. Patricia met us upon arrival to show us around. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. Patricia has put together a great resource book for area attractions and points of interest along with local restaurants and take-out spots which was very helpful. It was a pleasure staying at the cottage.

The thoughtful extras left in the fridge. Toys and facilities as we were travelling with a baby.

Spacious well maintained holiday home; quiet surroundings, within easy reach of local major roads. Thanks for the well-stocked fridge and snacks & cooking essentials in the cupboard. Jim and Patricia stay nearby and were available if we needed help. We looked forward to quiet evenings at the house after busy local excursions. There are two bedrooms (a double with en-suite shower & toilet and another with a double + single bed) and a large bathroom. There is an open plan kitchen/ dining/ lounge area with washing machine/ tumble dryer and dishwasher. There is a large backyard suitable for outdoor games with supplies available (table tennis or badminton, darts etc.), barbecue and a trampoline in the main garden! Ideal for children to play when the weather is fine. The house is within an hour of all regional attractions including the Antrim glens, Causeway coast and the Sperrin mountains scenic routes & locations. Sadly the largest lake nearby (Lough Neagh) and the river Bann were blighted by algal blooms so no waterside activities -like boat trips - were on.

The bedrooms might benefit from some shelf space although there are dressers. Also, some of the taps in the bathrooms are dated, so are a bit temperamental. Wi-Fi can be sketchy but this didn't bother us. Mobile phone signals are poor in the whole area, not really specific to this house. We suggest moving the streaming TV channels like Netflix to the main TV set in the lounge/dining area rather than the master bedroom so all the family can watch together; but this might be just our personal preference.

We had a great holiday. Patricia and Jim where lovely hosts and had went over and above. There wasn't a thing they hadn't thought of. Spotless, cosy and quiet. We will definitely be going back.and would highly recommend.

The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave to come home.

What a lovely place to stay, every amenity you could need. Patricia was such a friendly person. And if needed was just a call away to help. If anything my only fault were the beds......they were too comfy!!!!🤣. I don't like getting up at the best of times. But found it so much harder getting out of these beds. Just wow!!. Thank you.
