The location was very great, the WiFi was great up and downstairs to complete work tasks and the property was very close to all the major attractions and events in the heart of Centro

The water pressure wasn't good in the shower and the main bed wasn't comfortable but bearable.. it's a well kept older apartment

Location was great. In the Historical District which places you in the hub and easy walking distance to the main square, cathedral, arts and great restaurants. Although we did not eat on Calle Regina, loved the local energy and vibe. Best was the responsiveness of our host.... she was always right on top of any request.

Some things were looking a bit worn but host assured us that there was some repair happening to the building to improve.

Outage of Electricity and water, noise of water systems, third bedroom was accessible only by walking through master bedroom, property is next to a sex supply business, and ally to get to property is in disarray.

The apartment is located on two levels: living room/kitchen/1/2 toilet downstairs with bedrooms upstairs. The apartment is huge and very nicely decorated. The host spoke English and the communication with the host were excellent. Because the house of located on a pedestrian street and all of the windows overlooking the inner courtyard, it's SUPER QUIET there. Unbelievably quiet for the center of Mexico city. I had such a good night sleep. The beds are comfortable, great quiality towels. The apartment doesn't have a/c but with windows open and fan on it was nice and cool. The host was there to help us right away (when we could not open the windows, they came in the next morning with special tools and open it). Internet was fast. Plenty of eating options downstairs (all kinds of eateries). Oxxo at the corner (you can buy your sim card there) and a pharmacy and a bakery right around the corner. 5-7 min walk to the nearest metro station.

No mosquito nets on any of the doors/windows. My daughter got bitten mercilessly. Kitchen could be equipped better: No pots or lids. There was only one "pot" that resembled more of a deep flying pan. Which is a a shame, because it's a full kitchen with a full size fridge. No kitchen towels/pot holders. No cutting board. We stayed there for a week and it was a pain to prepair even simple dishes: cook pasta or boil potatoes.

Nice central location to Zocalo but without it being too noisy. About a 5-10 min walk and you are at the main square of Mexico city. There are also lots of restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores etc to buy provisions The accommodation has lots of character with the kitchen and living area having plenty of space for a family.

Not a criticism of the property per se but due to the historical nature of the building the floor boards etc are a bit creaky.

location, location, location! 10 min walk off the main Plaza de la Constitucion; famous bakery El Madrid 7-8 min walk; Ideal Pasticerial also close by from there so all the delicious baked goods you could desire!! Calle de Regina street itself is walking street with local bar and restaurants. Home is apt in former nun’s convent so the walls are super thick and ceilings very high, with original thick wood beams as the hostess explained. The building units are accessed by an outer door with corridor leading into the units so feels very safe. I think the space is great for families, esp with young children…the three bedrooms are right together but with doors separating. The kitchen area as you enter the unit is large with a generous table and there’s a downstairs bathroom as well.

there is some kind of pump that will kick on at seemingly random times— even very early morning hours. We slept thru most of the time, only once I was woken by it and couldn’t get back to sleep. If you’re a sensitive sleeper this could be a negative. Also the wooden stairs are very steep and angled a bit downward with age but certainly robust enough.

This 3-bedroom apartment on 2 levels is in a terrific location right in Mexico City’s historical centre and just a few minutes’ walk from the Zocalo. The bedrooms are located upstairs where there is a full bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. At ground level there is a fully equipped kitchen and a toilet with a sink. It’s in a really old building (built in 1791 as a convent) so the ceilings are high and the stairs are a little uneven, but the walls are thick so the apartment stays cool and quiet. Even though the apartment is in a busy pedestrianised bar/nightlife area, there is no noise from the street. There are convenience (Oxxo and 7-Eleven) stores nearby so it’s really easy to stock up on breakfast supplies. The tap in the kitchen sink is fitted with a water filter which is terrific and super convenient. Cecilia is quick to respond to any queries. This is highly recommended!
