Location was good. Stay was comfortable and fireplace was a bonus ( need proper smoke extraction ).

The view was amazing.

The house needs better cleaning and new linen. The bedding had stains, on each of the pillow cases, duvet and sheets. The blankets were dirty with food or drink spills on it. The glasses in the cupboard were dirty and had to be washed before using. The fridge stank of fish. The balcony floorboards seem unsafe, they dip and buckle. The eaves and roof is filled with pigeons so there is pigeon poop everywhere you look.so perhaps better proofing against them and a thorough wash of the walls and outside furniture. The previous people or cleaners left the trash outside on a Monday, which was still there when we left Thursday, it had been shredded and the trash was littered all over the front yard stinking up the front.

The two outside terraces were filthy covered in bird droppings on tables, benches , chairs. Could not use the terrace at all Some attention to detail would make the stay more comfortable eg high position of mirror in bathroom, no hand rails to navigate steps to bedrooms,

I liked the decor and the spaciousness.

I found that there was too little towels. 1 towel per person is not enough for a weekend. No hand towels - not even in the bathrooms. Could also supply a little cleaning products like Handy Andy for unexpected spills, scourers etc. The mop was smelling bad which made the place smell bad when we used it.
