Willowbank Retreat

Everything was spotlessly clean. Bed was so comfortable with fresh linens. Location was private and in beautiful surroundings, even had sheep in the field to say hello from a distance. Kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. Good value for money. Close to Wanaka for tourist/shopping fix. As you can see in our photos, we managed to see the Aurora Australis and the Milky Way! Rochelle was easy to contact, a totally delightful experience.

We felt very special staying here- this is a beautiful modern home with plenty of privacy. The host is incredibly friendly and the check-in details were easy to follow. Overall a great stay!

Every detail is perfect, so quiet, stunning location. Very clean, private, and well equipped. Rochelle is a fantastic host and made it a lovely stay. Would absolutely come again.

I loved how the owner communicated via email and was kind to those who are not technology savvy.

The location was great being away from busy Wanaka. The cottage was well designed with high quality furnishings and a very comfy bed. Having Netflix was an added bonus too!

It wasn't clear from the description that we would be sharing the house with other guests through an adjoining door through which we could hear quite a lot and were aware that they could hear us. There were also a few items in the kitchen that weren't as clean as they could be.

Rochelle has this set up perfectly. Outstandingly comfortable with everything you could possibly need. If you are looking for somewhere away from the terrible traffic and crowds of Wanaka in a country setting,this is it!
