Durham House - Fantastic Location and Great Price in Scarborough

The location was good for the Open Air Theatre which was why we were in Scarborough. The house was lovely, comfortable, nicely decorated and furnished. I will book again when we're next staying Scarborough. I highly recommend this property.

Durham House is a home from home. It’s clean, fresh and bright. Excellent value and great location to just leave your car and walk to the town, sea front etc. Shaun and Ruth are very friendly and informative. We had a great stay in Scarborough.

Absolutely loved our stay at Durham house, a very home from home feel. All rooms very clean. Good bathroom facilities. Everything you could ever need in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable.

I would struggle to fault it for our stay. The instructions for pick up and check in are simple and informative. Remember to ask for disc parking for each car that is visiting. Not the best view, but if you want a three bedroomed house in a great location to access all of scarbourgh with minimal effort, that is super clean and well equipt. The back garden is small but reasonably private. Turn right at the top of the street and your heading into town 15 min walk not a steep hill your in town. Head left at top of the street and your down hill all the way to peashom park, a short walk to the front great dog friendly pub/cafe, hop across the road and get on the open top buss £3 for a trip across the bay, look for "Hairy Bob's Cave, just before the skate park "Get off at the funfair , or roof top bar, for a cheeky cocktail. Walk along the prom or harbour, head down to the spa or grab a bite at the Brasserie. You coud use the cliff lift up to the italian gardens or the Grand Hotel and the city center shops and bars., short wak down hill to the house, Brilliant.

Great location , lovely & clean with a modern feel very spacious with all you could wish for Also great communication before during & after our stay Party of 4 adults with our two Frenchies

Not that we didn't dislike anything but ideally could of done with a second toilet considering it sleeps six people Like we say not a dislike just a comment that was made during our stay We would definitely book again & already looking at doing so
