Brave Eagle Cabin

The craftsmanship of the cabin was beautiful! Hot tub, pool table, mini theater, basketball hoops were so fun! The beds were comfy and lots of extra blankets. The fire places were so nice too, very cozy. I appreciated having the washer and dryer to use as well. The porches and many windows provided a great view of the foliage and lots of space to relax and enjoy nature. The full kitchen came in handy for us, as each day we cooked.

The road into the cabin is treacherous! I’d hate to see it in the winter! There was only one lane winding through the mountain & one side is a huge drop off. There was large construction trucks coming & going & some spots there was no room to pull off to let them by. The hot tub was great, but the jets were a bit weak & it didn’t feel as warm as I’d hoped. The bedroom on the main floor had a roach looking bug in the bed and chewing gum stuck to the bed frame. There was also lots of cobwebs and spiders throughout in hard to reach higher spots and the porches, which didn’t really bother me, but it did the kids. The fire place on the main floor ran out of propane our second day, so that was a bummer. All in all, we are so thankful we had the opportunity to stay there and it was a refreshing trip. The cabin was spaceous and perfect for our family of 8. The game room and movie room kept the kids busy. They loved it. Scenery was beautiful and worth the money for sure. We will be returning. I highly recommend staying there.

It was a bit challenging to find as it is far up in the mountains. Once we found our way the first time it was easier.
