Halfway to Heaven

Very clean. Great cozy cabin. We stayed four a long weekend and enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, hanging outside. We saw so many bears. That as exciting for everyone. We will be back again.

The only downfall was there are two new homes/cabins being built on both sides of this cabin and they were under construction. For two days it was pounding nails and loud machines running. We did a lot of activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so we didn’t have to spend all day with it. But it did take away from the peacefulness during the mornings.

Papa Johns don't deliver like in the booklet at the cabin as advertised. The cabin otherwise was absolutely 💯 beautiful!

Loved the indoor and outdoor space. Very clean . All amenities. Close to both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg once you completed the ten minute drive to bottom of hill. Perfect for a relaxing retreat. Plenty of games for kids. I did not want to leave. Easy check in at the heartland office.

The main bedroom bed in my opinion could do with a new mattress as you just roll into the middle. It was a little like musical beds with our stay because nobody wanted to sleep in it even though the room is stunning. Also the drive up can be a little daunting one night we had bad fog and that was quite scary driving up as they are quite a few narrow roads with big drops. Also the pictures on site make you think that there is quite a bit of flat land, but there was only a very small bit. But that just because our boys wanted to play a little football which was defiantly a no no.
