"A relaxing 1 night stay in a beautiful setting with excellent facilities."

There were many things that set this property above others - the attached carport, the delicious muffins on arrival, 1 litre of real milk (not the usual small UHT carton with a straw), amazing selection of hot beverages, perfect layout of rooms to allow privacy within the house, and breathtaking quietness. The decor is warm and welcoming and the setting peaceful. Situated within a few minutes drive of Foxton Beach and Foxton township, this is the perfect property for the area. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

"Great getaway in Foxton"

Location is perfect and halfway towards town and the beach. Accommodate has everything that one could need with fire place, heat pump, washing facilities, etc. Owner left a nice welcoming muffins and small chocolate at the pillows of the beds ( nice touch).

Only negative comment is that we felt that we had a set of rules to obey from the owner. Felt regimented probably due to being on a septic system. Owner was really friendly but came across as inspecting the property in visiting occasions. No flexibility on check out and felt like we were under the microscope a little bit. Sorry but this is how we felt

"A lovely comfortable overnight stay but would have happily stayed longer."

It was was a lovely comfortable homely place, where everything effort was made to cater for our comfort. The log fire was the cherry on the top.

It would be hard to fault this place. Besides the log fire I didn't notice any other form of heating in the living area, however I could be wrong.

"Really appreciated that we simply walked in to a pleasant cottage lit the fire and relaxed."

Perfectly located for our travel. Quiet setting off road with plenty of room. Tastefully furnished with every modern appliance. Immaculately presented. Highly recommended.
