The owner was very welcoming, she took time to explain all parts of the property and information I would need. The accommodation is not very close to any shops and she had provided some essential items in case of need. This was really helpful and considerate, as I was arriving by bicycle. She made me feel very welcome and safe.

Quiet location with lots of space inside the home.

No fault of the property, but temperatures made interior cold and it took a while to warm up.

It’s located within a mountain in a middle of nowhere where we can enjoy fresh air and the beauty of pure nature. It’s fully equipped with everything we need for daily living The host Junko can speak English (a rare find in Japanese countryside), is very friendly and attentive to our requests. The house is very spacious for two of us. We felt right at home.

One minor issue of the property is, every now and then, there’s bad smell coming out of the drainage in the kitchen, we reported to Junko, she said it’s already under her radio and it’s due to some structural reason and is to be repaired. And the roads coming into and going out of the property are quite narrow, one needs to drive very carefully and can be quite slow to drive for the initial few kilometres.

Host was the best, be sure to bring food

Clean and relevant for your home away from home stay. Owner, Junko is very pleasant to deal with. All amenities provided in a serene environment.
