We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The home was immaculate and the the amenities were perfect. The beds were very comfortable! The view from the home was gorgeous.

"Very unpleasant, felt watched, did not feel at home."

Location was relatively close to town. Lots of different heating systems to help stay warm. Spacious.

Rude interaction with host over text message. Host was very quick to assume and judge, despite me asking a question out of courtesy and respect. Threaten with fines over text message, as well as multiple posters put up stating if guests did (x, y, z), they would be fined. It didn’t feel homely with multiple locks on everything, felt like we were back at church camp where everything was locked away. There were also multiple cameras around the property, felt like we were being watched 24/7. Very expensive property for such an unpleasant stay, however lots of other properties in the surrounding areas have been built to make money off international tourists. Would not recommend to others, especially after interaction with host.

The huge window at the back of the house that looked out onto lake Tekapo in the distance.

The pillows could have been better (just a minor suggestion).
