Woodworth Cottage

Great cottage with everything you needed.

Beautiful, clean, cozy and homey cottage. Full of charm, well decorated with all the things we needed for a weekend getaway. Log burner was a great addition; my wife and I enjoyed a romantic evening without the need for TV. Great communication from the host made our stay easy and enjoyable.

The balcony to the kids bedroom was littered with cigarette ends. Not a great first impression! Also the bins in the outside yard were full. Maybe an oversight, but needed to be pointed out. Cottage is located opposite a pub and occasionally we heard arguments and swearing. Having said that we feel the cottage offered excellent value for money and we would not hesitate to rebook if we plan to stay in this area again.

TV made a tapping sound consistently which was aggravating.

The location was perfect as it was close to the town centre and ideal for visiting Skipton

The yard in at the back had an adjoining gate to the neighbours garden which they left open so had to go out to close this before letting the dog out which isn’t a fault of the hosts

Such a cosy little place, me and the kids had a wonderful stay. Neat, tidy, everything you need.

My only tiny complaint would be the TV's - smart TVs with Netflix and YouTube etc would've been a slight preference
