Woodworth Cottage

Love the renovation job on this house, really has brought the house to life. Comfy beds and even though the house is straight off a busy road, we really didn't notice the traffic noise at night at all. Nice balcony area to sit out on when the sun shines. Walking distance to countryside walks. Friendly neighbours.

We wouldn't usually book a town break as prefer to go rural, but hubby had recently had an operation so we wanted to be near amenities if required. The town wasn't our cup of tea, more catered for young families and my son is 14, so that would be the only reason we wouldn't return. A little tlc needed in the bathroom as the shower screen leaks badly and there was no non slip bath mat, which I think is essential. The kitchen cupboards needed a good clean and reorganise but we did have everything we needed. Dog bowls would have been a nice addition as I don't tend to bring any with me as most dog friendly properties provide them. It wasn't an issue as we improvised.

Great location right in the town. Great place to explore from.

Very homely

Location was great and facilities were spot on. Liked the extra little details like the bread, milk and wine.

Small details but the double bed was a bit creaky and the fridge was really wet in the top shelf so maybe a new fridge. Apart from that it was fantastic.

Central location with plenty on your doorstep but quiet and cosy inside. Kitchen was well equipped but it was the living room that really made it for us with comfy furniture and a lovely log burner.
