Woodworth Cottage

Very cosy, decorated beautifully for Christmas, kindling in the log burner, mince pies, mulled wine, milk in the fridge, loaf of bread.

Woodworth cottage was just so perfect, location and facilities provided..

It was comfortable and warm and right in the High Street. Harvey, the owner, had added touches to make our stay even better, such as some grocery essentials.

There was nothing we didn’t like, as such, but the shower was a little cramped and the water temperature fluctuated. So it could be improved by having an electric walk-in shower.

everything.. really home from home.. roof terrace… basic essentials including milk bread sugar tea and coffee even bottles of larger. log fire provided with generous amount of logs.. cosy little cottage on door step for town. had few hiccups with booking but the host was to hand really friendly and issues resolved right away..

only criticism no curtains in front bedroom lot of light from street lamps shining through the blinds during the night

Stunning little cottage. Has everything you would need. Love the balcony area.

Well furnished and decorated to a high standard. Lots of activities available in the home, such as games, music cds and books which was appreciate to keep the children entertained during the evening.

Kitchen missing a few extras. There was no oven dishes and the kitchen wear basic. Whilst there are ample pans would benefit from an ovenproof casserole style dish and the cutlery upgrading. Also was unsure about recycling glass and tins…there was only provision for paper and cardboard recycling evident in outside bins. Outside traffic noise started early but to be expected due to location on a main road.
