beautiful caravan in a beautiful location, large hotub!

situated on the main road and quite far to walk to main complex

The hot tub was amazing and the surroundings totally mind blowing.

The cooker was unusable on the first night as it wasn't clean and smoke bellowed out the oven filling the caravan and setting off the smoke alarm. The TV control didn't fully work and the sound bar control was melted and wouldn't work. Large cobwebs was on the ceiling above the front main windows and have the window locks was broken, the bedroom window was locked without a key.

The caravan was beautiful, it was spotless. Had everything we needed. The hot tub - absolutely beautiful. It takes the stresses of the day away. The wildlife was lovely, we loved watching the jets when we were in the hot tub. The friendly staff made the stay worth it. They were very quick to respond to any queries through messaging on booking.com. They allowed us to check out a little later which we were very grateful for since our taxi wasn't due until 10:50. There was a lovely lady working the reception in the arcades, she was warm, welcoming and friendly and greeted us all with a lovely smile. She told me her name once but I forgot. I'll remember her for a long time, we didn't talk to her much but she has a beautiful energy when we did. You'll know who I'm talking about when you meet her.

The facilities were really far from where we were, It took at least 30minutes to walk to them with my children. The bike hire should be available for longer periods during the day. I think they should also hire out the buggies which the staff have, and people who've bought them. It's very expensive in taxis if you don't have your own car. We did wait for about 2 hours for our main meal in The Spitfire Restaurant. We were informed - we should have asked that our starter and main meal be brought together and that's why we had to wait so long, and that this is how it works.

The property was clean and warm. We liked the hot tub even though only used it once, it was all heated up ready for us on our arrival. Also there were essentials for us. Loo rolls, wash up liquid, sponges, bin bags and hand wash. I just think the property could do with a little spruce up. It's by no means "luxury" as described.

Walking in to all the carpets wet (just been shampooed, so we knew they were clean) Kitchen floor wet, so we had to leave shoes on as the carpets were still wet, well into the next day. We left a day early as there were RAF jets flying over, breaking the blooming sound barrier, which were never mentioned anywhere when we booked. Horrendous!! Our dog was absolutely petrified. Also around 6/7am gunfire, we felt like we were target practice, like being in the middle of a warzone. Had to stay out all day, not a peaceful break at all.
