Appartamento Etna

Going up to Appartamento Etna, you will find Giovanni, who will welcome you and show the well organized apartment with everything you need. For us, having coffee available was great, and the outside table made us enjoy it in the morning. For the rest, the pictures speak for themselves. What gives an extra plus to this location are the tips and tricks from Giovanni, who give local recommendations and make you feel like you are visiting a friend 😄 Will come back someday and definitely recommend for anyone visiting east half of Sicily.

Great position, very clean, modern and comfortable. Had everything we could need. Most importantly the most amazing host full of recommendations and help when needed :)

The location of the house is perfect . We even got to see etna erupting with a perfect view from one of the side streets.

Giovanni was exceptional in all aspects of his hosting. He couldn't do enough for us to ensure our trip ran smoothly. He helped to organise us a rental car to ensure we could get around the area as it is quite remote (and absolutely stunning) and he even picked us up and dropped us off to ensure we got the car which really shows he goes above and beyond. Giovanni even took us for some traditional and tasty aranchini when we first arrived. Amazing. He helped us to organise a takeaway from a local restaurant, which again was delicious. We arrived in the apartment to a lovely, local bottle of wine and a clean, modern apartment that felt like a second home. It is located at the end of a quiet road and close to the drive up to Mount Etna. Giovanni gave us vouchers to use the cable cars and the restaurant at the top of Etna. Giovanni ensured we had an amazing trip from start to finish and we cannot recommend staying here enough. We hope to be back soon.

You are living in the real village with vineyard all around. Nearest hills in reality is vulcane. Not far away from apartmen you can found desert shop with traditional Sicili deserts like cannoli. No one talk on English, only Italian. 😆 Everything is green and growing fast. I had plans , to visit Etna, and it was amazing day. Weather was not so good, but at morning mt Etna allow me to come in and show all beautifull est views. In Catania very impressive fish market, very noisy, but with huge choice of fresh fish and seafood. Fresh from Cicilian red oranges was amazing.

Public transport - it is disaster. You can reach apartments only by walking, or on taxi. Taxi is cost a lot. Best way is to rent car in airport.

Really nice accommodation with a very kind owner in a perfect location. The owner gave me a lot of hints on how to reach Etna from the side without cable car and gave us perfect Sicilian wine.

Nice and clean apartment, tranquility and quiet in this area. The owner gave us tips on where best to go to eat,also to visit places of interest. Also, helped us to solve an unplanned problem. (Encountered the car hire problem, he came for us in the evening and early morning he transferred us to the airport.). I highly recommend this place.

the keys were wafting for un at the key-box at entrance (opens with a code), the owner left us an arrival gift, the owner was super - more than any apartment we've stayed in. Giovanni assisted with all our requests and gave us tips on places to visit and where to eat. the apartment is in a quiet area with a small patio so during warm days you can sit outside. the apartment is well situated for visiting the east coast of Sicily and very close to Etna base. the furniture and all new. the double bed was very comfortable and and sofa-bed the it is great for 3. the kitchen and fully equipped with large refrigerator, microwave, oven and stovetop. we stayed here 6 nights with great mountain air and an unforgettable and wonderful Giovanni. we will deffinately return and recommend it to our friends.
