Brilliant location, right on the beach. Beds very comfy and great quality linen. Lots of good sleeping spots. Verandah with lovely seating. Friendly neighborhood cat who loves kids. Inside braai a good touch. Responsive owner. A few rechargeable bulbs for load shedding.

Overall management a little lacking - no sponge for dishes, only two dishwasher tablets provided for a three night stay, damp towels provided on the bed, only *one* black bag for entire stay, no salt or any basics one would expect. I guess one pays for the location, mainly, but it felt a little... tight-fisted considering the daily rate.

Step out over the road onto the beach. Reasonably good view with the south easter not really noticeable with the orientation of the house.

In addition to load shedding we had 12 hrs of power outages on the Sunday and had no idea so could not prepare. The unit had no gas so this was really a problem. Towels were stained slightly and could have used some bleach. Bit of damp in the granny flat. The on premise help's family could be heard at night when trying to sleep. Stairs to the upstairs lounge to steep for my mom to use and downstairs seating was really just a dining room table so not that comfortable. Some of the basins did not have plugs. There was no soap in the bathrooms for use.

Wonderful location! We had breakfast on the balcony and looked out over to the sea. The kitchen was well equipped with excellent braai facilities. The house was generally very comfortable. We had booked for 6 but two of our party couldn't come because of work commitments, so we didn't use the upstairs at all. Great house for a couple of families with children.

There was no soap in the bathrooms and no hand towels except in the one shower. The house is also showing signs of wear with the security gate coming off at the wall in the main bedroom and the wooden doors and windows require maintenance.

No soap in the bathrooms. Would be nice if they have Nespresso machine for early morning coffee.

The location was excellent, and the house was very comfortable. Indoor and outdoor braai was great as the weather wasn’t great on our second night. Peter who assisted with check in and tidying up the house was friendly and helpful.

I would have given 10/10, out only challenge was the electric stove due to load shedding. I would also advise providing some sort of soap/ shower gel for guests as that is an easy thing for travelers to forget. The photos of the upstairs room were a little misleading but it was absolutely no issue as we were only 4 guests (2 couples).

no electric options when there was power shedding , like a power bank / inverter small camping gas cooker for tea/coffee etc. needed some paintwork , beginning to look tired in places.
