Well equiped - traditional styled house, very well located not far from Porto Moniz. We loved the little garden. The house is spatious and provides all needed comfort. The host was responsive, friendly and really helpful. Would highly recommend and return to this house in the future!

No real downsides.

Great house in a quiet area. Everything you might need is in the house: dishwasher, laundry detergent, charcoal for the grill, first aid kit. There was a heater in every room.

It was unexpected for me that the house was located high up in the mountains, but since we had a car, it wasn't a problem. It's an 8-minute drive to the waterfront.

Plenty of space in the house and it fit our needs very well. We especially enjoyed the grill area which we managed to fully use one of the evenings to have a birthday dinner - the best part of the house! Besides that, everything else was as advertised, maybe the parking spot a bit small and locks of the house took us a few minutes to figure out, but that didn't spoil our trip at all. We were provided with towels, beds were comfortable (or we were too tired from all the hikes haha), there was enough seating space for dinning and a nice patio for morning coffee.

There was no washing liquid for the washing machine, surface cleaner and a few extra cloths would have helped to keep the kitchen cleaner during our stay. Also, there were no cooking essentials like salt, peper, oil, sugar - we had to buy it all ourselves. The same with shampoo and shower gel. Although we did not expect to have either of those, it would have been nice to have it provided or at least some of these things. No fault to the property, but it was harder to commute to main attractions in the island as most of them required 1.5h drive. Besides that, we didn't have an iron and ironing board upon arrival, however once we talked with the host, they delivered it the next day so all was good. All in all, we trully enjoy our stay and the negative things are only points for improvement.
