Bramble Cottage

Cottage was Beautiful, surrounded by fields and nearest shop is approx 5 min away by car and Rathfriland approx 9min away. The cottage is clean, excellent amenities and the host is great. Highly recommended for all. Inside is modern and very clean, outside garden area has a BBQ, seating area and swings/Slide for the kids. The host also has bikes for use which is a nice touch. Great Location to travel to Newry/Mournes. Rathfriland has a large Nisa (local shop) Highly recommended to stock up all your supplies and the range on offer within here is Fabulous. Great Weekend Stay had by all ❤️

The cottage was beautiful & spotlessly clean. A real home from home. The location was perfect for our needs, with it being in the heart of the countryside and peaceful and quiet. The hot tub was a lovely addition, and all the family enjoyed it. We will return again.

Nothing not to like

Everything. It is the most fabulous accommodation we have ever stayed in and that is after staying in many self catering places. It is totally immaculate and furnished to the highest standard throughout. It was beyond our expectations and the generous host left out a very thoughtful and lovely hamper. The exterior of the cottage is immaculate and absolutely beautiful. Bramble Cottage is an absolute delight and a tranquil haven💗💗

Hi Bee and Bramble, I just wanted to send a warm thank you for our recent stay at Bramble Cottage (28 April – 1 May). We absolutely loved every moment and truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches you provided. The welcome hamper was such a lovely surprise and really set the tone for a relaxing break. The chopped wood was ready for the stove and the hot tub, and your beautiful welcome letter made us feel right at home straight away. It’s clear how much care you put into making guests feel welcome, and it really showed. Although we didn’t use the bicycles or visit the local pubs (we cooked indoors most evenings), we really appreciated the local recommendations you left for us. It's clear that you know the area well and want guests to enjoy the best of it. We were especially impressed with the Milestone NISA supermarket in Rathfriland—what a fantastic community shop! It had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a real treat—immaculately clean and perfect for winding down at the end of each day. And being surrounded by fields of sheep and lambs was such a peaceful and charming setting. As we brought our dog along, we were extra careful to keep him on a tight lead around the sheep. Collecting the keys was seamless, and overall, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect quiet getaway, and the warm sunshine made it extra special. Thanks again for your thoughtful hospitality. We’ll definitely be recommending Bramble Cottage to friends and hope to return ourselves in the future!

Everything was perfect. Make sure though that dogs are kept on leash as there are lots os sheep and lambs in surrounding fields

Great wee cottage with good facilities and a great price

What's not to like. Everything in the cottage is 5*. This is our 2nd time back, and I'm looking forward to our 3rd in July. It's so family-friendly, so clean, so welcoming. The welcome hamper is unbelievable. The views breathtaking, it's remote yet only a 5min drive to shops.

Not a single thing.

Never leave reviews but absolutely outstanding stay. Cottage was spotless owners were more than helpful brilliant for my dog to roam about as it’s enclosed hot tub was amazing not one thing to complain about will deffo be back.

The cottage was lovely, big and light. It had everything required in the kitchen for making food. There was also a welcome basket provided by hosts.
