Directions to the location were clear & helpful. The location was quiet and secluded with superb views over the countryside including from a private patio. The welcome pack was much appreciated - delicious home baked bread and tray bake, filter coffee & cafetierre. The hosts provided the milk I requested. Much thought & attention to detail had gone into preparing the cottage. The facilities for disabled were exceptional - worksurfaces for washing, cooking, food prep & even dressing table fully adjustable for height. I especially appreciated the wet room with ample room to manouver. Health & Safety measures in place, including emergency lighting.

It was very quiet for most of my stay but this was because there no other guests. On my last night the adjoining cottage was occupied by 2 adults and a big dog who were all very noisy, both beside & above the living room. If they had been there from the start it would have been unbearable - such a shame.

Very quiet, peaceful, rural location with views and lovely outdoor space. Easy parking right outside the door. The welcome basket of goodies and provisions was a pleasant surprise. Nice to have a proper kitchen and a living space, as well as the generous bedroom and bathroom. We didn't need it ourselves, but the cottage was fully wheelchair accessible, including the appropriate bathroom equipment and adjustable height worksurface in the kitchen.

We thought we were used to narrow country lanes, but some of the ones in the local area were particularly challenging! If you are light sensitive, bring a sleep mask as the security lights in the bedroom are very bright.

The hosts were very friendly and happy to help with anything. The welcome food pack and freshly baked bread was a nice touch. The location really suited us and the facilities were very good (sofa's really comfy - heating lovely and warm).

Nothing I can think of - no pub or feeding place within short walking distance - but can drive easily to great places

The keys were in the front door so access was very easy. An excellent basket of assorted items,along with a freshly baked loaf & flapjack, was a pleasant & welcoming surprise.

The WiFi & internet connection was not working according to the laminated sheet provided & even when we piggy backed on to the next door property’s connection,it was very weak. The water pressure on the shower was a problem which Edward was going to rectify at the end .

Beautiful location, wonderful accommodation and facilities. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. There was a beautiful welcome basket which was much appreciated. The disabled accommodation facilities are very, very good with speaking microwaves, full wet rooms, adjustable sinks etc The cottage we stayed in, Brambles Barn, was immaculate with a double height ceiling and mezzanine with two ensuite bedrooms. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the local pub, The Royal Arms where we joined in the quiz night and were made to feel very welcome. A perfect holiday 😃

Great location, very friendly greeting and generous basket of food items including lovely home made loaf. A ideal location for exploring the River Wye and the Forest of Dean

No issues with our stay.

Gorgeous views, cosy cottage, nice welcome basket. Toddlers were accommodated with stair gate, high chair and travel cot.

Ideal for exploring the Wye Valley, well appointed, high quality accommodation in a lovely spot with breathtaking views.

Not much to not like, could hear conversations/TV in the next door cottage but not really an issue.
