parking space is limited in this area. mattress is not even at the side, making one easily fall down

Spacious homestay above a shop

My first experiance to be told that parking is not included after paying security deposit. Suggesteed parking were cloded when arrived at 7.30pm.

I am deeply disappointed with the apartment when I check in on 29 Dec 2022. This is what I experienced: 1. Stain all over the blankets and bedsheets (Both big and small room) 2. We rent two bedrooms - one of the aircon in bigger bedroom was not functioning. 3. Small room - the wall is not sound-proof. (there’s a karaoke bar near the toilet, you can hear very clear noise from the small room at night). 4. The pillows are so flat and there are holes on them too 5. There is no light at the entrance, making it difficult to see at night. There is no lift and you will have to climb the stairs up to the apartment (Take note if you are travelling with any elder). After that, we communicated with Booking.com customer service / owner’s agent. They came to fix. However, after the fix, there were more problems we noticed: 1. The microwave oven is not functioning. 2. Aircon got issue, almost felt like an oven on the second day itself despite turning it on for many hours. 3. Crumps were underneath the beds. 4. TV got problem. I believe we will find more issues out if we were to stay longer. We have rented a few homestay previously but none of them are like this unit and not to mention , we have to buy a new bedsheet - just to have a better sleep after a long day. This is our first time to have to come to this extent and buy sheets ourselves! With this price range, we could have rented a better unit. At first, we were told that we could only check in after 3pm as they will need time to clean up etc. As a customer, we have expectations that our rented unit will be clean and neat since we have given them enough time to clean the unit. But still, the result disappoints us. Anyone who is going to book this apartment, PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU REGRET!

Check-in and check-out procedure is hassle free and the CS very friendly and supportive. 2 bedrooms with 1 of them have a spacious space which may fit more than 10 people but please bring additional pillows if you're more than 6 people. Tidy with well decoration in the living room/dining table. Both bathrooms are cleans and come with hot showers. Toiletries provided. Basic kitchen appliances and utensils provided but if you are more than 6 people, please bring additional cutlery & others if necessary.

It doesn't have its own parking space. But the CS will advise and guide you to park at an open parking lot located just beside the shop lot (very close). The parking lot owner is friendly and worries less as the parking lot is well secured but parking fees are very cheap. Both airconds in the living room/dining table are working but can't be adjusted using any aircond remote control there.

Best location and convenient access to F&B

On our second night there were blackout and the response was average. Delay in deploying staff to rectify the blackout issue. But overall if there were no blackout, it would have been a great stay.
