Well decorated and appointed. Location was perfect for walks around the county. Local pub was excellent for food and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

"Beautifully presented, well stocked cottage in lovely little rural village."

This is a beautifully presented cottage with very well stocked kitchen. Perfect for our two couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Owners provided fresh eggs from their chickens, plus other basic food and snacks. Everywhere was very clean with lovely bedding and towels. Pretty private garden with plenty of outdoor seating. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay. An ideal place to discover East Sussex. Thank you so much Stephanie.

There was nothing not to like! A perfect 3 night stay - we didn't want to leave!

Excellent well appointed lodge in a quiet rural village with a local pub serving hearty home made meals,perfect for a short stay. Highly Recommended.

tranquillity and a lovely outside sitting area. secure garden for our dogs was very much appreciated. excellent kitchen facilities and very comfortably furnished. As an older visitor I would have liked a non slip mat for the shower and bath. I would definitely book again.. I used to live in East Hoathly so enjoyed meeting friends. local village shop and pub both excellent. a reasonable bus service toUckfield and Eastbourne which as a non driver was useful. lovely walks especially in Moat Wood

bath and shower slippery for an older visitor. non slip mats would be useful.
