Relaxing Break at Coshel View

Very good place, very family friendly

Loved the location, a true home from home with everything we needed and more. Super comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen diner with lovely patio doors to the outside and the kitchen was superb! To finish it off a delightful living room with a real fire !! Stunning views from every window just made our stay !! Dog friendly too !

The best place for a relaxing break

10/10. A full home in a quiet rural area. We are rural Australians and this was our favourite spot of our whole trip. Felt like you were staying at your families house. Great pub down the road. Wish we stayed longer!

Location was excellent. Very picturesque

The carpet was extremely stained. Bedroom was not clean with dust and dead insects near bedside table. Renovation was occurring which I was not made aware of until 30-minutes prior to arrival

Great location and it’s definitely an ideal stay for families with dogs which I like a lot. Totally isolated with a BBQ and outdoor area. The owner, Angela was very nice and tried to make up for cleanliness issues when we arrived.

Unfortunately it was not a “relaxing break in the country” for us as construction meant people were coming & going without warning at all times of the day & night. Our last night there our dinner was interrupted by carpenters that randomly showed up at 9pm. We felt like we had to be inside with the curtains drawn because you never knew who’d show up and when. The next morning we were woken up at 8am by jackhammering on the bedroom wall. It was so loud we couldn’t even speak to one another and my wife had to please ask the carpenters to at least wait until we checked out. The owner did “warn” me about construction but said it would be “off the main house and wouldn’t bother us”. Strange men pulling up in vans to this very isolated house at night definitely did bother us and waking up to ear shattering drilling on the bedroom wall really just wasn’t acceptable. We paid for a large accommodation to have peace and quiet isolated in the countryside and it’s not what we got at all. I feel very bad because Angela and her brother seem like they are normally great hosts but they should have thought twice about allowing guests with this level of disturbance, I would have preferred that she canceled my reservation beforehand to allow me to choose another location.
