Brandys beach house bettys bay

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the lovely beach house surrounded by nature. The mountain views were breathtaking, and the spacious rooms with comfortable beds made it even more enjoyable. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed, including a French press (just bring your own ground coffee). Sitting on the stoep, we could hear the soothing sound of waves crashing nearby. A perfect retreat for a serene getaway.

While our stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of very minor drawbacks. The lack of WiFi can be a concern, especially for longer stays, as staying connected is essential for many travelers. Additionally, while we appreciated the separate toilet, the bathroom's design felt a bit exposed with just a curtain for privacy. Nonetheless, these were relatively small issues in an otherwise pleasant experience.

We couldn't watch the RWC Final 🥲; no DSTV.

The house has sliding doors and stacking doors almost right around with beautiful ocean and fynbos views. The porch is lovely and largely sheltered from the wind with a partial ocean view. Best of all they are pet friendly. Very organized home, everything you may need is there.

The house remote for the alarm and garage is little temperamental and needs replacement. We could not get the dishwasher going.

Close to the beach Had everything we needed for a great family vacation

Beautiful house surrounded by nature a minute away from the beach with mountain background view. Surrounded by tranquility . The house itself was clean very cosy, had eveything we needed and the fireplace was a big plus since it was cold and raining. Comfy beds. The Host was very friendly and gave all the relevant information needed for our stay. She responded promptly to questions . Thank you so much Zoe.

We loved our stay and Zoe is a wonderful and warm host. The property is lovely and clean with the advantage of Mountain View’s while being a stone throw away from the sea. The bedrooms had electric blankets which was perfect for the time of year as the nights were cold.

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property or our stay. I would just recommend an investment in Wi-Fi although there were benefits in being off grid. The signal is bad in the area and so getting hold of loved ones at home was tricky. This would only become a problem in the event of an emergency with no network.

The location

Lovely location close to the beach, beautiful fynbos all around the house and a lovely verandah for sitting on when the weather is good.
