"Authentic riverside stone cottage with easy reach to Betsw-y-coed."

Stunning stone cottage by the river. Well stocked and decorated. Feels connected to the local town (a 20 min walk until they finish the new bridge) but also a bit isolated from the busy. Loved the bath and the fire after a day exploring or hiking in the nearby mountains.

De locatie was prachtig en heel rustig. De cottage was voorzien van alle gemakken. De cottage was ruim genoeg.

Ik verkies een douche in plaats van een bad. Er is enkel een bad voorzien. De badkamer is wel erg mooi en er was altijd warm water.

The house, its facilities and location were amazing, a bit difficult to find but we had been warned about that. The hosts were extremely helpful sorting out a couple of queries we had.

As older people we found it quite difficult having to sit in the bath to shower. A shower screen and a permanent hold rail on the wall so that we could stand to shower would have made us feel much safer.

"Lovely location and property but more thought could have been given to guest expectations."

Quiet river side location.

It was implied that we would be met on arrival (but were not) and although warned that getting access to the house keys was difficult the level of difficulty was excessive and unnecessary. Although there was nothing major at fault several elements detracted from what would have made our stay more relaxing e.g. no spare bin liners, only one hand towel, only one loo roll, no toiletries (although advertised) apart from a near empty soap dispenser),one of the armchairs with a note on it not to put feet on the runner because it was weak, a wobbly cupboard shelf, odd numbers and types of crockery and glasses. We were required, on departure, to hoover through the house and put rubbish in the bin located over 100 yards away from the house and to place waste food in the compost located on the opposite side of a wet uncut lawn. None of this is major but lacked the welcome expected for a four night stay.

"Stunning cottage, a perfect getaway"

A stunning property with great views looking over the river. A secure garden which was perfect for the dog. A great location as this was just a short walk from Betws y coed. Loved everything about it and we would definitely recommend. The communication was great and the facilities were superb. Perfect for a tranquil getaway.

"Lovely gem of a cottage"

Beautiful location. Nice garden. Nice features

It was slightly awkward showering while sitting in the bath. The weather was too hot to run a full bath. But small and minor inconvenience only.
