"An amazing short break in a clean, cosy and well equipped cottage"

The host was excellent - we initially had issues getting the lock box open for the key as it was jammed and the host came straight out to let us in and even gifted us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. The property itself was lovely, very clean and well equipped with towels provided, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk in the fridge. The host had also put the heating on for our arrival so it was very cosy and warm.

The heating was rather noisy so we did have to turn this off during the night. The mattress was very firm so may not be to everyone’s taste but it was a comfortable stay.

Location was excellent. Some nice touches with milk in the fridge, cookies and other bits and pieces. House was clean and extremely homely and comfortable. Everything was easy to use and at hand. Little village has all you really need and a great place to get to and from Alton Towers.

"Lovely weekend away in a beautiful location with lovely owners"

Lovely clean and cosy cottage fully kitted out with all that is needed for a weekend away. Owners were very friendly and helpful, they kindly swapped out a duvet for one of the guests due to a feather allergy Manifold way is on the doorstep so plenty of walking and bike riding

Quite near a busy road but you can't hear it when you are in the cottage.

"Lovely property and we would stay again if we were coming back to the area."

The house was very comfortable and spacious. There was lots of space and it was well equipped.

Our only small problem was finding the road into the property however this would not stop us staying again and recommending to friends.

Location was perfect for exploring local area, everything within a short drive, easy to find and easy parking. Property was spotless and the kitchen very well equipt. for self catering. Bed very comfortable and living area cosy.

Nothing not to like, freezer compartment in fridge would have been useful but not essential.
